Review the correct request
Open the order from My Orders. Match its Wire Code and customers to your receipt records. Review the Deposit Request or Funding Request and its document before recording a receipt.
A customer reporting that a wire was sent is different from your business confirming receipt. Record the money received in your bank records, rather than treating the customer’s report as evidence of receipt.
Record the receipt
- Choose Confirm Receipt of Deposit or Confirm Receipt of Closing Funds in Next Steps when available.
- Review the amount and record the actual receipt amount and date, along with the reference information requested by the sheet.
- Complete the signer and signature fields shown, review the details, and submit.
- Wait for success and check the updated order before closing the workflow.
Partial receipts do not complete the request until its required amount has been confirmed. Review the remaining balance before recording another receipt.
Late deposits and unavailable actions
When the workflow offers Record Late Deposit Wire, use it for a deposit received after the ordinary deposit step has ended. Follow the order’s available action rather than confirming the same transfer against a different request.
Not every closing requires a deposit. A missing deposit task is not a reason to create one. Closing phase, existing receipts, permissions and request readiness determine which confirmation controls are available.
Check the result
Review the request balance and Activity after saving. Customers receive the corresponding receipt update through the Paperstac closing workflow. If saving fails, keep the entered details and resolve the error before retrying; do not assume receipt was recorded.
If your bank records and the order disagree, contact Support with the Order ID and the receipt reference. Never post a full bank account number in a message or private note.
