Account & Profile help
Create your account and verify your email
Create your personal Paperstac login, confirm your email address, and understand how your account differs from a business Profile.
Account guide · 3 min read
Start with one personal account
Your account represents you, the person signing in. Use your own name and an email address you can access. Each member of your team should have their own login; you can work together through a shared Profile.
If you already have an account, sign in instead of registering again. You do not need another personal account for a second business or Profile.
Create your account
- Open Create an Account from the sign-in page.
- Enter your full name and email address.
- Choose a password with at least eight characters, including letters and numbers. You can use the password visibility control to check what you entered.
- Review the linked Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, then choose the button to create your account.
Paperstac signs you in after registration. If you started from an invitation or another app page, continue with that workflow after signing in.
Confirm your email address
Look for the verification email sent to the address you registered with and open its verification link. The verification page processes the link and shows whether it worked. Use the Log In link on the confirmation page to continue.
If the message is missing, check your spam or junk folder and confirm which email address you used. If the link has expired or no longer works, use the page’s Log in to resend email action and follow the verification prompt after signing in. If you entered the wrong address, see Update your email, password or phone number.
Email verification, identity and Profiles
Verifying an email confirms access to that inbox. It does not complete Plaid identity verification or create a separate business identity.
For personal verification and legal-name changes, see Verify your identity and update your name. When you are ready to do business, create a Profile or accept an invitation to an existing one.
